The thing about Wile E. Coyote is that he’s not wily, and he never learns. The entertainment is the spectacle of his repeated failures. And, the fact that the roadrunner doesn’t give a f*ck what he does.
I don’t need to say much about the redistricting maps. I refuse to have my intelligence insulted by idiots pretending it’s anything other than open racism and a desperate power grab. Soulless cowards who cannot win. This pitiful attempt at supremacy is anything but a win. It’s a signed confession. Supremacy failed its core objective…again. You’ve tried to hide it, deny it, change it, and/or break it. But the age-old truth that has been there all along, will not only NOT go away. It is now a global beacon
White Supremacy is, at its heart, a man-made fake comparison. Everything about whiteness is based on superiority. The better homes; the better jobs; the better values, the better looks; the better hair; the better education; the higher intelligence; the bigger victims; the better people… all of it. The incessant need for one-upmanship.
And now, the world knows what Black people have known from the beginning. You created the comparison. You set the standard. Yet, no matter what you do, you cannot win your own game. Not even when you’re the only player. Not even when you lie. Not even when you cheat. You can’t surpass our potential. You can’t “Be Best.”
You’re the coyote who doesn’t learn.
The entire history of the United States is white people trying to make themselves bigger by diminishing everyone around them. But one demographic has repelled you again and again. Black people. Not only do we save the country from your hatred, we save you from yourselves.
Equal rights for Black people means equal rights for everyone. Better wages and living conditions for Black people mean better wages and living conditions for everyone. Fair voting practices for Black people mean fair voting practices for everyone. DEI and Affirmative Action benefited white women and disabled vets. Overturning Anti-miscegenation laws made marriage a protected right. In every scenario, when you fight, you fight for superiority. When we fight, we fight for everyone. (Had you listened to Black people, the White House wouldn’t be overrun with murdering pedophiles. Just sayin’)
Everything you do to us is a tell. But, no matter how many times, how many ways you try to silence us, our voices will echo.
Every time you deny history, you set it on a course to repeat itself, and you fail anew.
When you have nothing to give, you can only take. You appropriate our culture because yours is capitalism, hatred, and greed. We enrich lives, while you drain life and force people into poverty. We integrate, build up, and diversify. You separate, tear down, and limit.
You are oppression. We are freedom.
This was your game, which you cannot win. Your gerrymandering is just another anvil that will eventually land on your head.
