Recurring
Different target. Same supremacy.
Do you think we should move on from the Trump-Epstein scandal? Should we shrug and say, “It’s in the past. Let it go.” Should we ignore the horror and forget the imagery? Should we forget accountability? Not allow for healing? Nix repercussions? Should we opt out of restitution? Should we do nothing, move on with our lives, let the perpetrators prosper while the victims suffer?
Hopefully, you answered no to every one of those questions. But if you could only bring yourself to answer no to just one or two, congratulations. You have caught a glimpse of what it means to be Black in the United States.
None of the horrors uncovered in the Trump-Epstein files is new. Trafficking. Rape. Abuse. Murder. That is the slave culture. It is an evil empire that was perfected upon the enslaved. Men. Women. Children. They made sport of feeding Black babies to alligators. They raped them. They ate them. They made shoes out of soft black baby skin.
The horrors are so unspeakable, we cannot let them go. We will not let it go. We are angry because there has been no accountability. No repercussions. Not restitution. We were expected to do nothing. Move on, and let the perpetrators prosper while we suffer.
Because white people of privilege put that burden on us, that evil was allowed to reign free of consequence.
We scream at every injustice because we have to.
You ignored it because you could.
And this is what it has cost you. Your babies have been abducted, raped, abused, eaten, and murdered. People with power and no accountability, because the United States has a history of not holding evil accountable, have been, for years, taking your children and doing whatever the f*ck they wanted.
How will you feel when someone tells you to “get over” these atrocities?
Freedom in the US is draining away. How will you feel when there’s no accountability for that?
How will you feel knowing the pain and suffering of these poor victims could easily be brought upon you and yours, because evil people were excused instead of stopped? Their crimes were hidden, instead of being prosecuted.
Judging from history and experience, I imagine you’ll want justice. And you’re going to want it forever, until it comes.
Welcome to Black America. We’ve been dealing with this crap forever. The terror living in the pit of your stomach comes from evil getting a free pass. You’ll get used to it. That incredulous expression etched on your face because everything they say is a blatant lie…yeah, it’s often referred to as black attitude. (I’m sure they’ll come up with a new name for you.) The need to want to punch somebody for being purposefully dismissive, tone deaf, and intentionally obtuse. It might be anger for you now. But eventually, without healing the trauma, it will just be a part of your morning routine; something to tuck away in order for the fragile folks around you to have a good day. Mmm… Injustice is a lot to get used to.
Oh. By the way: No matter what you do, you cannot fix, solve, or stop the Trump-Epstein sh*t from recurring until you go back and fix slavery. If you try to skip the process, you continue to enable the process. Period.
